The Python RPA Studio interface has following components:

• Main panel (center of the window):

  • Shows opened scenario files
  • Here you can drag’n’drop the activity cards
  • Note: when creating new project you have to select main.scenario in the “Project” tab to start working

• Control panel (right top of the window)

  • Has buttons to run and stop bot, save the project

• Menu bar (top of the window):

  • Create project - to create new project

  • Open project - to open previously created project

  • Save project - saves the data

  • Recent projects - shows recently opened projects

  • Scenarios - let’s you to create new or delete existing scenario

  • Scripts - let’s you generate scripts from scenarios (by default Studio generates them automatically) or import previously generated scripts from other projects

  • Assets - let’s you import into project assets, they also can be just copied into the project folder

  • Options - let’s you set Studio preferences. Will close the studio after change, you will need to manually start the Studio again.

    

• Actions tab (left of the window):

  • Has a number of activity cards to be used in automation

  

• Projects tab (left of the window):

  • Show the project files

  

• Variables tab (left of the window):

  • Has fields for “Project configurations”, “Credentials” and “Global variables”

  

• Logs (bottom of the window):

  • System logs - shows system messages
  • Run logs - shows cards execution results and errors if any (click on “Error ID” to see the card with error)

  

  • Debugger logs - shows extended information on run results

• Edit field (right side of the window):

  • Expanded area to edit any fields in Activities cards
